1. Expertise

You can trust my experience as a Web Developer. My strongest assets are technical competence, creative insight, and interpersonal communication.

Technical Competence

I have worked professionally as a Web Developer since 1998 and have extensive experience in nearly all facets of this field. I also make a point to stay well-informed of emerging trends and technologies.

Creative Insight

In addition, I consider myself evenly balanced as a creative and analytical problem-solver. While I have a strong academic background in fine art and commercial design, both graphic and interactive, my professional experience has given me a deep understanding of such analytical skills as object-oriented programming, database design, and usability analysis.

Interpersonal Communication

A common perception of Web Developers, and technology workers in general, is that while they work wonderfully with computers, they work horribly with people. I have found this to be somewhat accurate and I realize the problems it can cause, not the least of which is client dissatisfaction resulting in lost revenue and, usually, pink slips. Therefore, one of my longstanding goals as a representative of this field has been to hone my skills in interpersonal communication. Simply put, I like working with people and you can feel comfortable working with me.
